Overview:
Enter Naruto Shippuden: Rise of the Yugure. Yugure stands for dusk, which is a group of characters that I’m creating as antagonists for the Naruto universe. I’m trying to decide if I’ll use OCs as intended or if I’ll come up with an explanation to bring certain characters back from the dead. It’ll probably be a combination of both, but when I’m ready to introduce that, I’ll let patrons vote on the direction. As of right now, (v.0.1.5) the game is extremely raw and is little more than a demo for me as I learn how to execute the programming side of the game. There are quite a few complicated or hard to find aspects of the coding that I’ve already implemented and I’m getting a much better feel for how the coding works. As of right now there is no story, but I’m gonna be at this game for a while until it’s a bit more fleshed out. After that, I’ll take a vote as to whether I continue working on that game, or go back to Chel Dorado. The choice will be yours.​

Just got home from work. I wanted to get this update out before I went in, but unfortunately, the upload took too long. I didn’t even have time to test it before I tried to upload it. This has just the portraits updated with the new artwork, but I’ll get the rest of it updated and uploaded in a day or two. Updating the artwork was a lot more time-consuming than I’d originally thought, though now I won’t have to bother with it again, yay! I think I’ve changed the art style in some fashion about 4 times now since I started. I’ll get the scenes updated and released, and then it’s only about adding content. I’m leaning toward getting the battle system up and running myself, along with a few patrons, but I’ll put it to a vote between that, Sakura content, and the next story mission. As usual, hit me with any feedback or criticism.v0.3.6
Just an "under the hood" update to eliminate some bugs and to make a save from this version onward compatible with future updates. It also lays the foundation for the exploration, battle, and outfit systems that will be implemented in the coming months. I’ve also revamped the file system to ensure that future updates will happen much more smoothly and efficiently while hopefully remaining compatible with saves from this point on so that you don’t have to start over every time a new release comes out. As always: criticism and suggestions are always welcome.
