Overview:
Chapter 1 follows Mei as she gets dragged out of her home in Hong Kong and thrown into a mansion filled with cultists. Help her escape the cultists and explore the world of Pandemonium to find out what happened and get her home.Chapter 5 features Chris Dormer, a submissive tennis coach and English teacher who needs to adapt to not only being pulled through the void and deposited in the middle of a robotic society, but to an unplanned shift in gender, as well (they’re monstergirls, after all!).Chapter 5 is currently about 60% complete. This prototype adds the Manufactory subquest, a new campfire menu (except the Skillbooks menu), a bunch of new maps for chapter 5, bug fixes, updated art, and Queen Bee Mei.
How do you access the Manufactory? It’s on the work terminal in the first half of Chapter 5. Just take the Efficiency job and take the tram to Sector 99.
Right now, just use the campfire costumes menu while a bee in chapter 1, and you too can be this stylish insect royalty.Prototype 5-5e

We have the biolabs segment of chapter 5’s story, which includes the raiju transformation, the raibies transformation, a rebel sidequest, a moth movie with a knife fight and aboat chase, some frozen pipes and amphibians, milking machines, dumb jokes, and character development. Fixed damage computation for Implosion Grenade being incorrect. Made info boxes smaller to make them more legible. Info boxes now show symbols instead of words to make them easier to read. Info boxes now stack vertically to handle very large enemy groups. Enemy HP/Info bars are now centered. Combat text now centers correctly. Downed party members are now removed from the turn order list. Can now enter the Amphibian Center’s secret room when not in a movie. Added treasure to the biolabs! Added enemies to Aquatic Genetics. First, this patch fixes both the Z-fighting bug in 3D mode on newer graphics cards, and it fixes the DoT-Crash that has been annoying me for a few prototypes now. After some detective work, I tracked it down with the help of the Discord chat and MarioneTTe, whose terrible hardware made reproducing the bug a breeze.This also adds maids to Classic Mode! Added a wide array of form handlers for cases previously missing them. ‘Examine’ is now a synonym of ‘Think’ in Text Adventure Mode. (Suggested by Aaaac) Christine will notify the player of the warp command if she knows about it during Text Adventure Mode when using the ‘Think’ command. Fixed 55 spawning twice when warping to Sprocket City’s outskirts. (Thanks, Aaaac!) Fixed enemies in Cryogenics ignoring Christine when in Golem form. (Thanks, Aaaac!) You can now examine the window near the airlock in Cryogenics. Everyone wanted me to let them examine it, well now you can. Fixed some enemies in a certain dungeon not having vision cones. (Thanks, Klaysee!) You can now walk around in the broken storage container in the containment area. This was a vital change. Fixed a bunch of typos (Thanks, many people!) Pressing arrow-key up and down allows you to scroll back through your inputs in Text Adventure mode. (Hopefully) fixed the tram errors so it should no longer think it’s somewhere it isn’t. (Thanks, Aaaac!) Reputation items now show how much rep you get for turning them in. Fixed the mysterious Florentina Warden bug. Inventory now resets to the first page when exiting the menu. Fixed (hopefully) the strange bug where the inventory menu refused to allow you to scroll to the third page when you have three pages of items. (Thanks, Aaaac!) Fixed selling at shops when you have a very long item list relative to the item list of the vendor. (Thanks, Aaaac!) Fixed a bug where the target info box was rendering offscreen. Target info boxes for multiple targets will now try to avoid rendering over one another. Speaking characters in dialogue will increase in size slightly to draw attention to them. (Suggested by Stinkehund) Controls will now save whenever the dialogue is closed normally or the defaults button is used, and controls change when the game is opened. Added the Ability Inspector to the status screen, allowing you to check your abilities when not in combat. Retreating from a fight that would land you at Sprocket City will now take you to the outskirts so the cutscenes don’t get all silly. (Thanks, Technomagus!) If the direct damage is enough to KO an enemy, debuffs and other effects will not animate since they just waste time. (Suggested by Kinuyasha) Added extra crossbar generation to the RLG. Levels should be more open and have more paths available. Added extra redundancy to the RLG so tiles don’t get cut off when placing exits. Fixed there somehow being no collisions in the Trap Dungeon entrance. (Thanks, jjgallowson5!) Added Memory Cursor option in combat. The game will remember the position of your last ability selection and reset it when possible. (Suggested by Chickenwhite) Ambient Light Boost option will now be saved to savefiles. Fixed 55 not receiving XP for the extra Sprocket City activities. Fixed the weird audio looping bug for the FMOD version. Massively reduced the tile flickering problem, by about 99%. Should be very rare now, and therefore not noticeable. When using layered music tracks (in the first dungeon of the game), the combat victory music will now zero the volume of these tracks off. (Suggested by Chickenwhite) Fixed a bug where a section of dialogue with SX-399 wasn’t showing. (Thanks, aaaac!) Fixed the Arcanist Advisor books in the Dimensional Trap formatting strangely. Fixed one of the signs in Trannadar displaying nothing. Edited the text of one of the signs in Evermoon forest. (Thanks, MarioneTTe!) Fixed some of the kerning for capital letters in the Oxygen-27 font.

Your previous savefiles will work in the new version. Just import them to the new folder (do not install the new version over the old one because Windows frequently fails to overwrite files correctly). In case you don’t have any but want to jump right to the biolabs, some savefiles have been provided courtest of Good People Who Do Good Things Klaysee and Aaaac. What heroes they are.
