Overview:
This is a short game where the Player takes a role of a human magician Veronica who was sent to the nearby forest to hunt down some thieves. She finds out this is not the only problem and she starts to investigate. Her main goal is to defeat enemies she meet and destroy the seed of corruption. In this part, the world is beginning to fall into the darkness and the Player’s role is to prevent it from happening.​

– Uncompleted Ashen Forest with one enemy (consider this a test stage);
– Simple settings, sample conversation, player and enemy stats and movements;
– Uncompleted Combat System (which means there’s only the ability to kill or being killed and the enemy has only one type of attack);
UI Update I (Player’s stats panel with only HP implemented so far, Game Over bad ending screen, Main Menu image and Menu UI elements);
– With the above, the ability to get back to the Main Menu (which should be obvious but I’ve seen so many games where such option didn’t exist when it should, that I’ve decided to write it down as a feature :v ).Take a note that this build is but a testing one to get some feedback, catch some interest of the potential player database and also to catch some bugs.

Introduction:
Hello everyone! Some of You might know me from my comments already (as Minomike). Long story short: I’ve decided to create a game of my own (a whole series if I succeed). Right now our team contains two people who need to do their usual work before anything else, which means we can’t spend too much time on the project, YET. I believe it will change in the future. That’s all from the initial introduction (more details on our patreon page). The project We are currently working on will have 10 updates at least and 14 updates at most (excluding fix updates). The game will be rather short, because as the first project I didn’t want to pick anything too complex or too big. Also because I’m a beginner when it comes to the pixel art I wouldn’t be able to promise too much right now. That being said, I hope You will enjoy our (currently partial) production
Version explanation:
Each game dev has his own standards when it comes to sign the project version. We also have our own one which I would like to explain below:An example: v0.1.2.3e
0. – stands for final version. 1. – stands for Map updates (Map outlook, Characters, Collectible items). 2. – stands for Systems (Conversations, Gallery, Combat, UI etc). .3 – stands for Sound Effects (Sounds, Music, etc). Xe – stands for fixes and detail updates. Some updates will contain more content, some will contain less. I was trying to create a good balance between those updates but some of them just MUST be like they will be.
