Can you re-use savegames from previous updates? Probably not. But there is a skip option in the game (bottom of the screen), to speed up dialogs.

There is a real game-intro now! Keen has a introduction. Lune her story is now twice as long; it has an introduction….and ending! Meet the Captain. You can try to repair the salvaged ship.
